Meet the pianists: R-W
Davide Ranaldi, 25
ITALY
Highlights of Davide’s past season include Mozart's Concerto No. 20 at the Teatro La Fenice di Venezia under Frédéric Chaslin's batonand Beethoven's Concerto No. 1 at the Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova with Maestro Donato Renzetti. In 2025 Davide won Second Prize at the International Maestro Piano Competition in Taiwan, was semi-finalist in Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition and won First Prize in Rovere D’Oro International Competition, Piano Euregio Award and the Tadini International Piano Competition. He took part in the 2018 Hastings International Piano Competition.
Kazusa Sagawa, 27
JAPAN
Kazusa Sagawa studied at the Tokyo College of Music before studying for a Masters in 2024 at the Hochschule für Music Hanns Eisler Berlin. He has participated in many competitions in Japan including being a semi-finalist in the 12th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition and 1st Prize in the 21st Tokyo Music Competition. He has performed with the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, the New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
Natalie Schwamova, 25
CZECH REPUBLIC
Natalie made her orchestral debut at the age of ten with the Buenos Aires Symphony Orchestra. She has performed with the Czech Philharmonic, Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, and Extremadura Orchestra, in venues including the Berliner Philharmoniker, the National Auditorium in Madrid, and the Palau de la Música, Barcelona. International awards include First Prize at the Fryderyk Chopin Competition in Marienbad and First Prize at the 2023 International Music Competition in Alicante. She studied at the Reina Sofía School of Music with Dmitri Bashkirov, Milana Chernyavska, and Claudio Martínez Mehner.
Shunshun Tie, 25
CHINA
Shunshun is currently studying at the Central Conservatory of Music under Professor Danwen Wei. In 2016, Shunshun won first prize in the Beijing Chopin International piano competition for young pianists. In 2017-2025,Shunshun has worked with the China Philharmonic Orchestra and Central Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra. In 2025, he was again nominated for the preliminary round of the 19th Chopin International Piano Competition.
Anson Wong, 25
HONG KONG / CANADA
Born in Hong Kong, Anson studied at the HKAPA with Gabriel Kwok and the Royal Academy of Music with Christopher Elton. Winner of the Third Prize and Beethoven Prize at the 2025 Dublin International Piano Competition, with performances in cities around the world, he also won top prizes at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Asia, the Ishikawa International Piano Competition, the RAM Beethoven Piano Prize, and the RAM Beethoven Piano Concerto Prize.
Pei-En Wu, 22
TAIWAN
Pei-En Wu is studying her master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music. She was awarded the RAM Beethoven Piano Prize. Pei-En grew up in Shanghai and studied with Natalia Filippova at the Middle School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She has performed in major concert venues across the city. Pei-En has studied with renowned musicians such as Dame Imogen Cooper, Christopher Elton, Boris Berman and Steven Osborne.
